Jacking & Stand Points on the "3"???

Hi All,

Does anyone know the recommended Jacking Points, if using a rolling floor jack? Usually the dealers repair manual will have this info. Also, I am looking for the best places to place Jack Stands.

I plan on rotating my own tires, and like to have all 4 wheels in the air when I do it. Also, as I plan on using Synthetic oil at 7,500 intervals, I would like to perform it while the car in lifted fairly level.

TIA

You can use the normal jack points on the sides of the car for the jack stands. I assume you know what I'm talking about, but just in case you don't there should be a notched out section like 2-3 inches behind the front tires and before the rear tires. as for the jacking point in the front, I can't remember what it is but it's round and metal and isn't covered by the splashguard. That is a solid point and should work fine. The rear you can just place in the middle right underneath the rear suspension. I usually use a 2x4 between the jack and the rear subframe. Hope this helps.

*Edit: I knew that there was a link from a post that had already been opened about this. Here's the link though: http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94229
