Jack cover and remotes

Okay, so I just bought a 2002 p5 last weekend. I have two problems. I am sure that it had remotes with it at one time, can these be purchased somewhere besides the dealer? Anyone know a good vendor?

Also, I am missing the plastic cover to the jack storage area. Does anyone have a part number on that so that I can find a price?

hey,

check on ebay for the remotes, you can get them slightely used or brand new for pretty good prices. There seems to be an abundance of them on there.

As for the jack cover, a wrecker would probably be the best bet.

Good idea, I didn't even think about the auto salvage places. I'll check on ebay for the remotes. Did all p5's come with keyless entry?

Yep, most all mazdas these days come with keyless entry

if you do order one make sure it is for your car. Apparently remotes between different models aren't interchangeable. Like you can't use a Mazda MPV remote with a Protege.
