J-Spec Taillights.

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the japanese spec taillights? I just love the way they look and they would blend real nice with the silver paint. I am looking into getting the Axela badge soon as well.

the inner light i believe is clear/jdm vs amber on the usdm models

i see what u mean look at vodapas's msp hehe. he bought jdm tail lights for the mazdaspeed and there is only a really suttle difference. i guess to each their own. if u really want it and into minute detail, youll have to spend the $$$

I agree, the subtle differences would be nice. My other concern is it may not fit EXACTLY right so with the tiny differences coupled with poor fitment it may make it look worse

very true. has any other 3 gotten jdm tail lights? i would assume since it is from japan and an OEM part, fitment would be excellent. i would just be worried about wirring issues (if anything needs to be adapted) i would contact boomplustoys or corksport and im sure they can help u with the issue, or anyone for that matter.

haha, its true. But we are actually discussing the part so its not bad.

But on your point of the car being japanese and that being jdm, not always true. I have a body kit sitting in my garage from a jdm sedan. Front lip doesnt fit because of lighting differences......so since the front lighting is different, the back could be also

That tail light is in the SP 23 hatchback, with LEDs, also the LED mirrors are nice

Didn't know I was going to have to spend that much. I think for the money, stock taillights are just fine. I still want the Axela badge though. Found some on ebay for $16.

^^ what the other guy said, it is "LED" tail-lights (looks better, but like you said, not worth $500)!

I've seen a few 3 owners get them(hatch) and they look pretty damn good...

Are they ever going to make some cool tails for this car? Carbon fiber, silver, anything? I have a friend at work who has a 3 and wants something diff but could not find them. Thanks!
