Well, geographically, they are kinda right. All the cars come in to the US through california. So we'd literally have no IMPORTS without them. I dunno about the scene. I mean honestly, let's say CA fell into the sea tomorrow (determine for yourself whether this is a tragedy or not); Then, like, Nevada would become the source of our imports. Or Oregon. But like i said in thier thread, you could go back and back and back to nth power and just say that the only reason anyone "mods" or races cars is because of things called "hot rods" a few decades back. or even further back when people raced chariots.
