Hey all its been a while since I have been back on the site, i have an issue going on with my baby and i'm hoping someone may be able to give some tips.
My idle was a little rough and I noticed that all the posts would point to the egr valve or at least to clean it so I cleaned it and when I drove it the motor would bog down at the stop signs almost dying. Also, the most annoying thing is now when I apply the brake a noise comes from the engine(it sounds like a baseball card in bike spokes) really fast and loud.
I bought the new upgraded egr valve(if a cover over the valve is an upgrade) and installed it this morning, I have absolutely no change, motor idle still rough when I stop, acceleration is hesitant at best and the noise that sounds like a baseball card in spokes still there. Anybody who can help, please do. I have searched most of the posts already and got tired of looking and getting no answers so forgive me if this issue has already been addressed, thanks to all.(wow)
