Is turbo hose SMIC worth it

you should wait a few day's and buy my hiboost kit...

for about the price of a new SMIC and pipes.

The smaller core made instant throttle response I'n my car.

Oh, and I had a CustomMSP SMIC before the Hiboost FWIW.

ok, im new to this whole turbo thing. I owned a 2002 civic with K20 swap and this is my first turbo car ever that i just got about a month ago. The previous owner have done a couple of mods to it (vibrant exhaust, smic, clutch and short shifter), i'm really planning on getting hard pipes for the smic and a bov, but i'm hearing different stories left and right. some ppl tell me NOT to get a bov , but instead get a bpv, yet some say the opposite. Now, with your topic in mind, and like i said...i don't know jack about turbo cars, this is my first one EVER so don't laugh please, what do you mean when you say turbo hoses vs hard pipes. Now, i know that no one here had said anything about the difference in the two, but i realize some are using the terms turbo hoses where as others have said hard pipes...correct me if i'm wrong in my readings...lol. But please, someone explain to me what's the right thing to do, i have $400 saved up and i want the best for my car. with the mods i've mentioned, the car already pulls almost as good as my K20 swapped civic. Therefore, I do understand that it's easy to put more power in a car with turbo.

BTW, the previous owner had also installed "carbon fiber" altezzas, know of anyone who'd wanna trade for stock? even non msp would fit, right?

the hardpipes are made by a company called turbohoses
weapon r also makes hardpipes and you can have those for under $300

for the FMIC from HIBOOST isnt there a problem with lag because the piping is longer. and not only that dont you need a new rad because the smic gets removed???

i have almost instant spool. its pretty hard to keep the car outa boost lol. you use the stock radiator. when you remove the stock side mount intercooler, there will be a large hole. in the hiboost kit, there is a plate included to block this hole and you still use the stock radiator.

you don't need a new radiator, but i recommend one if you are going to be pushing it hard or using it as a daily driver that is stuck in traffic all of the time. still, just a good idea, not necessary.

im running 12 psi and i live in houston. i never have any cooling issues with the stock radiator. its my daily driver and i often i run the piss out of it.
