ok, im new to this whole turbo thing. I owned a 2002 civic with K20 swap and this is my first turbo car ever that i just got about a month ago. The previous owner have done a couple of mods to it (vibrant exhaust, smic, clutch and short shifter), i'm really planning on getting hard pipes for the smic and a bov, but i'm hearing different stories left and right. some ppl tell me NOT to get a bov , but instead get a bpv, yet some say the opposite. Now, with your topic in mind, and like i said...i don't know jack about turbo cars, this is my first one EVER so don't laugh please, what do you mean when you say turbo hoses vs hard pipes. Now, i know that no one here had said anything about the difference in the two, but i realize some are using the terms turbo hoses where as others have said hard pipes...correct me if i'm wrong in my readings...lol. But please, someone explain to me what's the right thing to do, i have $400 saved up and i want the best for my car. with the mods i've mentioned, the car already pulls almost as good as my K20 swapped civic. Therefore, I do understand that it's easy to put more power in a car with turbo.
