Is this price too good to be true?

Found a 2008.5 GT model online recently with less than 8,000 miles on it for 17k. The price seems a bit too good to be true. Can anyone run a CarFax on a vin for me? Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't have carfax vehicle history report... But I don't think it's too good to be true by any means. It seems a bit low for a dealer price, but maybe they've had it for a while and just can't move it.

With that combo of model year, trim (GT), and low miles, the price seems a bit on the low side. But not unbelievable. Scammers would likely go lower than that. I'd go take a look at it if it's in your local area. And if it appears to be everything you're hoping for, investing $30-40 in a Carfax won't hurt.

Bought mine, same year, same model, brand new for $23,000 and I didn't even have to haggle to get that price. I've read of guys getting them for cheaper than that brand new, so I don't think $17k is off the mark for a car that is almost 2 years old with 8k miles on it.

I got mine, same model and trim with 5,700 miles back in July 09 for 18.9 from a local dealer. Seems about the right price.

i got my 08.5 GT brand new last year for 18k out the door taxes included, when i test drove it.. it had under 10 miles on it =)... i got mine for a steal hehehe, although i did do some haggling lol it was originally 19,800. it was because it was a late 08 that arrived with the 09's and they really just wanted to get it off the lot.

Wow.. that is a steal, especially out the door taxes included. That means that car was under $17k brand new. Unbelievable.

I ended up picking up a "new", left-over Caliber SRT-4. It was 19,995 with 54 miles on the ODO.

So far I love it- very comparable to my previous MS3 but larger inside.

Feels slower from a stop but faster on the hwy. I can post some pics if you are interested.
