Is this bad for my 3?

I'm new to mods/ car work so please bare with me.

I bought a ground wire kit and installed it in my 3 (just wiring and battery terminal mount; no stabilizer). I attatched the wires to the designated engine parts and then connected the other ends of the wires all back to the negative terminal of my battery. I couldn't find much info on this, so this is the best i came up with. I don't know if I'm halucinating it or not but i have notticed an increase in power in low rpms... Is this going to hurt my car, or is it messing up my car in any way?!?!?!?
Thanks for any help.

more power is not a bad thing -- that what ground kits do

better electrical power transfer or something -- I'm not an electrical engineer,

ah thanks, and i already got a CAI too its alot nicer, much better purr. Anyone know if this changes the ecu settings in my car? thats the only thing i could think it would mess up by linking all the wires back to the negative terminal.

your going to get boost spike from the cia becuase its not tuned for it ,just be careful flooring it in 4 thru 6 gears

grounding the throttle body has shown to show very small gains/tb response on a normal 3. what year car do you have?
