Is there any way to check ATF at home? Can't locate dipstick.

2011 Mazda CX9 3.7L 2WD. When we put it in reverse or drive the car wont move at all. So is there anyway we can check the ATF at home because we can't seem to locate the dipstick for it! Please help!!!

The 2011 CX9 has a sealed transmission. You can't find the dipstick because there isn't one there. If the car's still under warranty, I'd have it towed to the dealer and taken care of.

On the 2010 there is one to the left of the battery and down a bit. hard to find but there. not sure if it is still there on the 2011 though but worth a look. it has a black rubber knob on the end. let us know.

I believe starting in 2011 they did away with the dipstick, mine is a 2010 and as mentioned above, the dipstick is kind of hidden on the side of the battery and behind the engine.
