question is in the title. i was thinking cuz i put a connecting rod through the block i dont have the car with me so i cant check and see if it is magnetic or not. if it is im welding it up putting a new connecting rod in pouring some oil in it and selling it.

Wow, you sound like an upstanding citizen.

My question is... why would you even try to weld it? Just put some duct tape over the hole, and fill it with oil. It'll run like new... hahahaha

I vote we ban this asshole. People like you are the reason that used cars get a bad name.

LOL. This isnt the worst. My "friend" bought a car from a "real homie g thug" a few years ago. 92 Prelude. I was powerwashing the engine bay for him, and I couldnt get this one spot off the #2 cylinder section. To my surprise after the steam cleared... The guy had fixed the hole in a block with fiberglass and bondo... OMFG LOL

hey listen i said i would bring it to the person who purchases it attention. the reason behind it is because i need the money is because i had 2500$ is stunting tickets in my truck. the only reason i was going to weld it is so the person can drive it home and replace the engine.

you're not helping your case here. but OK, heres hoping no one would buy it thinking it would survive that way.

Also, I'm assuming a rod put the hole there... you know a block isn't too expensive when you're already doing new rotating assembly parts, so if you just put a lil more into a proper repair, you'll have a sale (or drive) worthy vehicle.

i was wondering the same thing, were u like popping wheelies in ur truck, gost riding the wip? j/k my opinion is to sell the car with a blown motor and help them source a new one.

+1 Before it causes more unecessary damage!
