5 mph my ass! That's definitely not normal.
Did you post whether your car was a manual or auto yet? I can see the CCM having a slightly harder time maintaining speed with an auto. . .
My suggestions:
1.) If there is more than one Mazda dealer close enough to drive to, try another one. (I have like 4 within 30 minutes). You may find someone willing to help.
2.) Tell them it's been off by 6 mph, whether or not it has. By their assertion, this would not be normal and they would have to look at it.
