the obx header for 2.0 fits all 1999 to 2003 2.0 and 1.8 proteges.

im in canada , i actually called obx to open a dealer account so i will be able to offer their products on my webstie. The tech guy told me the 1.6 header they have fit 99-04 models

I have the header for the 1.6L... had it for a few thousand miles with no problems... it's VERY loud... ive gotten pulled over several times

i'm not really sure about the header becuase i put the exhaust and header on at the same time but one thing it does do is make the motor growl and helped out the higher rpm range a good amount

I have the obx 4-1 manifold, i noticed that the engine didnt choke out as much in the high rpms, when i put the full exhaust on with the headers it pulled alot more after 4000 rpms

what about the thunder header that protephile is selling, how does that compare to the OBX?, both are 4-1 and I'm thinking of getting a new header, i currently have the 4-2-1 header that comes of the 1.5 zl-ve engine with svt(sequential valve timing), it caused an increase in hp, so i'm wondering if i'll be upgrading or downgrading, what do you guys think, OBX, Thunder or mazda 4-2-1...

but they dont make a header for the zm-de engine, only the B6, the b6 has different intake and exhaust port shapes
