Is my car reliable?

So I think im done with my mods until my warranty expires at least. I was just wondering if you guys think my car is "safe" and reliable. Im not an expert and I just want to make sure my car will last me.
Mods: CAI , SU 2.5 test pipe, GHL 3 inch dual catback, rear motor mount, forge bpv, shifter bushings, and lastly a FMIC which I will buy in december. Either that or the new TRZ top mount if it lives up to the hype. Thanks for any help and feel free to give me mod advice for anything I dont have. (only bolt ons for now)

Turbo timers not really necessary on our cars though but look cool :)

Grats on MOTM by the way. Nice to have a break from the protoges

I'd say the fmic might not be as safe as running stock, except that the turbo is not working as hard which is actually safER than running stock. Other than that it looks good to me.

Turbo timers, although not a necessity, for $50-$100 (or less for some ;)) can give you peace of mind and a little extra safety towards the longevity of your turbocharger. Yeah, some of them look pretty badass too

Little confused lestat. So are you saying the FMIC is safer than stock ? Also I dont really take my car to the track but couldnt I just let it idle 30 seconds before I shut it off? Save me a hundred bucks . . . I dont think I could leave my car on and just walk away. Would hate to come back to a car thats been idling for 10 hours.

what he's saying is that the turbo doesn't have to work as hard with a cooler charge from the FMIC or upgraded TMIC. the turbo can create the same PSI without having to work as hard to get there.

i have heard a couple stories about FMICs doing harm, but my guess is improper installation. TMIC's should be fine.

if you track the car, let it idle for at least a minute before you shut if off. if you live on a 55+ mph road, let it idle for like 30 seconds before you shut it off. if you live a bit off the highway, you should be fine as long as you drive easy the last 1/4 mile or so.

Yes and yes, except I heard (don't know if it's correct) that it's easier on the turbo with a new intercooler because of less resistance as our stock tmic is quite restrictive. The charge will, however, stay cooler which is another huge plus.

For the turbo timer, then just count to 30 ;) I like gizmos and sometimes I really just need to fly in like a bat outta hell, jump outta the car, and run to where I gotta be!!!

Sounds good to me you should not have any problems on relyability!

I would save my money on the turbo timer thou especially if you have the gt speed cant lock the car when its still running, so basically your just gonna stand there till it shuts off anyway!
