Is Mazda pulling a fast one on MSP owners?

Tallard- can you post a picture of the underside of the plate the springs sit on? I want to see how it mates with the gear.

I should have my car back with the removed LSD as well within the next couple days and will post more pics when I get it cleaned up.

if you are planning on making substantial power with this car then third and fifth gear upgrade is recommended, i think we purchased uors from protege garage

Tallard, thanks for the pictures. It looks like the springs are only there to preload the gears for quicker/smoother torque biasing. They should not affect the TBR.

There are no clutches in any version of the MSP LSD. Wheels not spinning the same direction while the car is in the air is a function of preload.
