I just hit 72,000 miles in my '02. GLAD i got the extended 100,000 mile 10 YEAR war. And you know what? NO PROBLEMS AT ALL
no wait except my third gear pops out every once in a while
anyway back to doing some more (drive)

Mine has 69,999 right now and as soon as I pull out from my driveway it'll be 70,000. No problems yet.

It's funy you ask. I took it to them when it was happening at 50k and they drive around in it on Riverside drive in Macon and couldn't get it to do it. I told him not to hold on it and see if it would pop so he got me to drive. 30 mins later and after buying me lunch at Texas Cattle Co. <William Altons ROCKS> I couldn't get it to do it either. So they can't figure it out. I have yet to let them have it to open her up.

There's a guy on the forum somewhere who has high 80's if not low 90's by now. Mine's about to cross 20k and isn't but a year and a half old and I thought that was bad (screwy) .

ha...I keep forgetting when to change my oil. I think I put 8,000 miles on one oil change. I didn't change the transmission fluid until 80,000 miles. One of my front upper strut plates is turned 180 degrees to make up the camber angle for the bent strut tower. My right front wheel is bent where I ran off the road in the mountains and my bumper is cracked from another offroad excursion (not my fault). My engine gets to see the rev limiter at least once a day. I've only waxed it twice in 2 1/2 years. I'm absolutely horrible to my car. Now I'm starting to feel bad

Why would you be glad you purchased the extended warranty if you have not had reason to use it? Just wondering... oh, and for comparison I'm at about 36k miles on my '02!

Word! i have 57k and runs like a charm Ive only had one problem within those miles and thats a new MAF. BUT!!! I now have a larger problem, my rear caliper is screwed up and is warping my rotor very quickly......and the funny thing is, is that Mazda wont fix it cause i have over 50k! (notcool)

Man you guys suck! 9 months, 31K and I've had a shortblock installed (1K ago), and it's going back for more motor noise again. I've changed the oil with Mobil1 every 5K, warm it up for 5 minutes every morning and I still have problems! (argh)

You should see my other car. 1988 323 station wagon. 300,000 miles on that puppy. I've owned it for about 8 monthes...and I haven't washed it yet. It did just get a brand new clutch though. And the MX-3 seats look super cool in it.
