is epoxy/resin illegal?

quick question, is resin or epoxy for making CF stuff illegal??? someone i know said it was....? is he full of s*** or is there some truth in it?

I'm a material's/ structural Engineer...and I deal with epoxies and resins all the time for structural repairs...and I've never came across a resin/epoxy that is illegal,..at least in NC.....now you may not burn it into the atmosphere or something of that nature....but for pure use...I can't see it being illegal, unless the company specifies you to be a licensed user or their product??...Later!
