I bought an air intake from Ebay whick is from Sabersport.
is it really bad intake?
I bought a K&N filter and heat shield though.
Are they helpful to gain more hp?
Should I install the pipe from Ebay? or should I buy another short ram intake pipe?

negative hp?? no intake will really give you any noticable horses...maybe like 1 or 2 but you cant feel that. theyre mainly for sound and you get a little better gas mileage from more air coming in

Do I get NEGATIVE HP? reallY??

then which intake should I buy for good performance?

I mean which pipe should i get? cuz I like K&N filters

is there big difference between INJEN and Ebay intake?
even though the intake includes K&N filter and heat shield?
If yes, what's the difference btwn them? in detail?
Thanks.

go AEM, it nets 4-5 hp and is way easier to clean than the injen

injen sucks in air from the tire well. the air there is colder and you get a "sucking" sound when you drive. better gains here

the ebay intake is mounted inside the hood where the air is warmer. you will also get a new engine sound but its not as prominent as the injen...its still better than the stock-box

I shouldn't get a CAI if it rains alot in this area?
Ive read it on the website where reviews are posted.
so,,, if it rains alot, I shoud go for a Short Ram intake?

Can I buy only Injen cold air extension and connect it to the K&N filter? would it work same as the injen CAI?

My OBX intake is fine as well. Thinking of buying a K&N filter + heat shield, though (if I can figure out which one to buy)

besides the fact that the ebay intake LOOKs like poop, not much of a difference between that and my new Injen CAI...however, i ordered the blue CAI and i must say it matches my blue mica almost, and with painted valve covers and red ignition wires, i think it looks about 3,000 times better...sounds better too

There is no such thing as a negative HP gain with an intake ... you will get overall better throttle response with any intake. The more cold air that goes into your engine the more HP you will see. If you live in an area that is good weather all year around I would say go with a full CAI, but if you have lots or rain or snow a short ram is the way to go, the last thing you want is water sucked into you engine. Most intakes dont add much HP if any, but it will feel and sound better.

I dont want to turn this into a flamewar, but i'm just expressing my side. I dont see anything wrong with the E-Bay intake, it doesnt even look bad IMO. I couldn't find any real reasoning to spend like 280 on something that give me the same performance as something that costs 55 shipped. I'd rather take that 255 and put it into something else. But if you are going for show under the hood too, then I would have to aggree with an injen as your best bet, but for a good buy, same gains, a good sound, nothing wrong with the e-bay intake. :D
