So I received an iPod Touch for Xmas.
My car has the "ipod cable" installed from the dealership. However, since I never had an ipod before I couldnt test this out.
Here's my issue:
Plug the cable running through my glove into the iPod . iPod says accessory plugged in or something close.
I hit the Media or Sat button on the car thinking it'll be plugged into one of those. Nothing changes - thats if it's on CD, the CD keeps playing. If its FM, the radio doesnt cut out. The buttons do nothing. The iPod when plugged into the car, wont play music by itself.
Now, to me, when the device I plug a cable into, says an accessory is plugged into IT, then I think they have installed the wrong cable. Or, this is just another reason for me to hate on Apple (PC guy for 20 years).
Or the cable is loose from the deck and Apple isnt THAT evil after all.
What I do now?
