the reception on the radio isnt the greatest, however sometimes it is purely due to antenna condition and type.
Assuming you have the stock one, it actually was one that got some of the best reception.
If your is really that bad, i can only assume it is either in bad shape.
you could try another stock one, or google a bit of research to find others who reported better reception with other specific aftermarket antenna.
I have a shorty antenna from the CX-7 and it works great, same reception as my stock one which was pretty good to begin with.
I honestly have no idea if anyone found an antenna that really produces better reception than stock.
its hard to quantify since radio station clarity is also dependant on area (mountains, flatland, etc), type of signal, signal strength, etc etc...
