interior lights out

I have bought a working pair of new lights. The glove box and floor board are not lighting up. The tester reads there is power but the bulbs do not light.

I have checked the fuse box and checked bulbs..they work. What should I do to fix the problem?

91 Mazda 626. Any ideas simpliest way to check ground wire?

Also this model car has moving seat belt...move VERY slooww. what could be causing this problem..?

If the tester reads that there is power to the socket, but the bulbs light up, then there is a problem with a bulb, or the contacts that the bulb connects to I would think.

As far as the moving seat belt problem, you can try hitting it with some WD-40, but the motor may be dying as the car is 17 years old.
