Interior cigarette light

Hey Ya'll,
I was driving home from work tonight and noticed that the orange ring around my cigarette lighter was not lit as my headlights were on. Is this supposed to light up when the headlights are turned on? I have an 07 MZ3 5dr hatchback. Any feedback would be helpful. thanks.

The light bulb is burnt out.It happened in my 2004 Mazda 3 Hatchback.I replaced the bulb now is lit.

yeah mine is out too. i thought it used to be but was never sure. just have to pull out the cig lighter or what?

How do you replace the bulb? is it the bulb that is replaced or the circuit? what kind of bulb do i need and where is it available. any feedback would help. Thanks.

You need the bulb # D343-55-431 from the Dealer.

That light is so ugly, mine never worked and I don't understand why it's orange nothing else in the car is orange it's either red or blue it makes the car look cheap.
