Hey everyone,
My time to purchase a CX-5 is coming up soon because I have done way too much research and I really cannot find much I do not like about it. One thing I would like to receive some feedback on though would be the interior console and gauges. From my research, I have noticed a few things have changed over the years in concerns with these. I am limiting myself to 2014-2016 as my choice will be a 2.5L/Auto
Gauges:
2016 - Looks like the gauges were simplified, an Odometer now sits below the speedometer and the outer display now has an analog meter for gas and is the display is smaller and red?
2014-2015 - White lighted gauges with a large display for information. I think I like this style better as the gauges look nicer it seems.
Console:
2016 - Addition of electronic parking brake, sport mode switch, movement of power socket, simplified smaller radio control / seperate volume knob, smaller arm rest and moved cup holders, extended "side bolsters" for pocket
2015 - Normal parking brake, lower power socket, normal cup holders, (if navi equipped) moved cup holders, knob control, smaller armrest because of cup holders
2014 - Normal parking brake, lower power socket, normal cup holders.
I also noticed changes with the A/C controls and overall fill of the interior. I am looking for some comparison shots, insights, comfort comparison if anyone has any.
Thoughts anyone?
