Hey spoolin I was looking in the car the other day and I can see how you fit the IC( What are the dimensions of your IC?) but I cant figure out how you piped it. Do you have pics of the piping? Do you have to cut any of the frame out? What's the deal? Thanks
Sorry, but that information is "G14" classified. hehe, Ok stupid joke, but anyway, I too am curious to see where the piping on the passanger side goes.
I was looking at the pictures from the tech page and it looks like one of them is piped under the car. I would be worried about something like this but if it works hey who cares? I was also thinking about offsetting the radiator and the coolant cooler to give more space to the cracks that are there but too small. Take a look and tell me what you think
The pipe that runs under the car, from side to side, is normal. Alot of kits run their IC piping there. It is safe, as long as you don't drive like a maniac.
Intercooler piping is one thing that can't really be explain on our cars since everythign right now is customa nd everyones is a little different....its more of a thing you jsut have to do. Spoolin has his front mount I have my top mount...but I don't have any piping mine is a direct fit from the discharge of the turbo to the throttle body. Its not as an effiecnt design as a front mount but I'm going for the stealth look and side mount wasn't an option....so later I'm going to have my hood louvered and put a fan below the intercooler or put in a hoodscoop but i'm not too fond of scoops...I have converted my purge kit to a copper pipe that runs around the intercooler and sprays N20 over it to cool it drastically like the NX N-tercooler.
