What Is The Best Intake To Get For P5? Short Ram Air Or Cai? What Brand Does Everyone Prefer?

I love my Liveonspeed eBay CAI. Great sound (I replaced the filter with a K&N cone), and it looks good aside from the blue breather hose and connectors (but they sell a red one now I think). Highly recommended.

I've got the liveonspeed one too. It's ok, it makes a tap everytime I hit the gas or start the car.

I put an Injen on my wife's car, and a K&N on my car.. I like the K&N better. The fit and finish is better and I think it works better.

If money is an object, then the Ebay CAI is the way to go, but if its not, get the K&N.

I have a AEM. i like it. Easy to install, I have not used other so I cant compair. If you search you will find LOT and LOTs of info on intakes!

AND I TOTALLY DIG THE SUCKING-AIR SOUND WHEN I DROP THE HAMMER, AND WHEN I TURN THE CAR OFF IT SOUNDS LIKE IT RELEASES EXCESS AIR.. TTTSSSSssss....

I got my K&N for $230 shipped and when I bought my wife's Injen, it was $200..

You really can't go wrong with any of them... out of the 2 that I have and installed my self, the K&N wins..

at the time I bought the Injen.. which was this past winter, the K&N was over $300... and the Injen was $190something + shipping.. now the Injen & K&N are about equal in price...

honestly i dont know that theres enough diffrence in any of the intakes to make any substanial gain from one to the next.

I bought one from Ebay. The one with the gray couplings, it was incomplete, no instructions and wasn't a good fit. It's on its way back to the seller. Justin hooked me up with a ractive SRI. Thanks again.(rockon)
