Has anyone taken the heat shield off the intake manifold (headers) towards the back of the car to see what they look like?

er sorry about that ... lol ok thanks ... can't wait until major companies start making some mods for this car like AEM, DC, HKS, MBRP, Borla, Greddy, etc ... heh

Well, I can't wait either. But I don't think it will ever happen. Since the car was discontinued.

I came here for an Intake discussion and I find out it's an exhaust discussion.

May I thread jack to get back on track then?

Is anyone bothered by the plastic intake manifold?

why would that bother anyone?? EVERYONE is using the plastic manifolds now....They're cheaper, resist heat, lighter....whats NOT to like??

FWIW, ford, GM, and Chrysler/mercedes use them in several of their global vehicles without problems

Plastic intakes are lighter and flow just as good. The air inside is less likely to get warmer due to heat transfer. If you don't like the way it look, paint it some color that matches your car. RICE RICE BABY!! - What happened to Vanilla Ice!!
