So I'm about ready to pick up a CIA for my 08 ms3... I've done the research with different brands and how they may not be the same diamater of stock, and or not perfercted for the air turblance. SO, I was suggested to purchase Mazdas CIA as its the same diamater and I can only assume is designed to deal with this "turblance" problem. Truth?
But my main issue is the ECU reset. I've read a few different things, like all it takes is just a disconnect of the neg terminal, pump brakes to bleed the remaining power, then reconnect and you're golden. Then I've read you really have to drive it specifically for a long period of time under low work loads to calibrate it? Can anyone that has knowledge and past experience of this confirm exactly what needs to be done?
Thanks!
Edit: Also, do I need a fuel pump upgrade if I get a CIA?
