intake and noise

If I get a cold air intake will it make the engine louder? I don't want to make anything sound much louder or cheap like a lawn mower. Thanks...

It will sound louder and deeper when you floor it. Sounds stock the rest of the time. And no, it doesn't sound like a lawn mower. I find the sound very nice. My specs are 2.3l and aem.

Biznas any cels with that intake? Did you extend the MAF wires?

No cels, the wire to the MAF is attached to the battery box so I just unclipped it and gave myself some slack. Yeah , that umnizta is nice for 2 big reasons 1) to install the aem you have to remove the front wheel and splash guard to get to the bottem half of the stock intake (read: PITA). 2) hmmmmm, cf!
