what are you guys paying for insurance on the ms3?

how is the ms3 "categorized" for insurance, because all the dealer paperwork just said it was a mazda 3...

Depends on the company. I've seen Progressive consider it a different vehicle, based on its higher horsepower-to-weight ratio.

GEICO does not consider it a separate vehicle, and quoted me $100 less per 6 mo.

Yeah, I had the same with progressive. I switched to ameriprise, but they were pretty close to Geico.

USAA here, im paying less for the speed3 than i did for my regular 3. Go figure..
