Insurance Rates

hi, i was wondering what you guys pay for insurance each year. Please post your age, driving record, and insurance rates. I know that it's different for everyone, but I'm just trying to get an idea of what it will be. It is really up in the air over whether or not we'll be able to afford this car, because some unforeseen things happened lately. A lot of it will have to do with insurance. So any help is appreciated, thanks.

Im 32, never had a ticket or accident, married , I pay $660 a year, full coverage.

age 26 Male pay about 1100 a year.

No tickets on my record. Of course they couldn't find a Mazdaspeed protege so I am insured under a normal Protege.

Yeah, my dad called today and they couldn't find mazdaspeed protege, so they said they'd call headquarters and see what it is. I'm hoping they just say they'll do it for msp. BUT they said that even a normal protege would be 2400 for me :wtf:

I sell insurance for Nationwide in FL. I primarily sell commercial insurance but know the tricks of the trade. I am 25, have 25/50 limits and pay $109/ month. Believe me, it isn't as bad as it can be with other companies. However, if you aren't worried about going with a standard company (going with a non- standard instead) then you can get your rates down much lower than mine. I just have to be with Nationwide for good business practices.
What do you wnat to know?

I can't get an msp, i guess. The insurance said the rate would be over 3000/year for me (i'm 16, but still :wtf: ) This is gay. Thx Erie insurance :wtf:

I thought that too, but they said that it would go up next year. Also, the mp3 is kinda underpowered, and my parents aren't fans of voiding warranties. Sucks for me.

28/Male/no tickets or accidents. I got a quote for $1170ish for 12 month policy with progressive, with the AAA discount and paying it all up front. They put it down as a 2003 Protege ES cause the mazdaspeed wasn't listed.

When the charge came through on my debit card it was $984.00 for a 12 month policy with progressive. The agent called me a couple days later and laughingly said he hoped I didn't mind that he saved me $200! I said hellz NO!! I will never complain about the insurance price, I was okay with the quote price.
