installing undercar neons

i just got my orange streetglow gs for my orange MSP..i tried searching the forum but i cant fint it..if anyone has or knows about where to mount them ot wuld b a grat help..i already got a frend to do wiring just need to no more abt mounting them
thnx a lot

I hope those are just for show, or else you are defacing the MSP and need a swift kick in the nuts (nuts)

sorry.. heh
Most people i've seen have them mounted right next to the metal thingy where you jack up the car to change the tire, its hidden, and semi-protected. I'm not sure how they mount them, short screws maybe? I wouldn't use too long of ones for fear of punching through something important...

english please

The problem on our cars is the neons will hinder the jack point odf the car and get smashed if you aren't paying attention to what a mechanic is doing. It happened to me.
Also you will need to put several screws through the floor of the car.

Each side tube can tuck behind the jack point lip under the car.
The front is easy as you have alot of plastic to just screw it to.
the rear is a b**** to get in but tucks behind the bumper and has several places to secure it. Be careful routing the wires as you have to keep away from any weat source or moving part and you don't want them to get cut. The wires are a specific impedance so DON NOT use solder on the connections. You have to strip wtwist and tape, then cover it with the supplied plastic tubes then tape again.
I hope you got all the retaining/mounting clips and wire connection cover tubes with the lights.

For everyone else:
He asked fo help installing, although in the WRONG SECTION!!!
He did not ask your opinion so if you have nothing to add for install advice, SHUT THE **** UP!

Ah, I thought something else.

Taking the time to post, (notcool), is what I am refering to, just don't post. The guy wants help not your opinion.
It leads to general mistrust and overall bad feeling in the new guys and brings down the site. you are hardly the Worst Offender steph but you are one.

Think about if when you needed kenwood keys I had instead of sendign you keys, took the time to insult your choice of radios, and that would have been an easy task. However I wanted to be helpful not an asshole.

what else would you like me to do? I am sorry .. again.. and I wont do it again. now please back off

How about deleting all such posts then I can delete mine responding to them?

thank you! theres too much hate here.

The problem was the original 1st and 2nd posts did nothing to answer the question. So they were posts to be a dick only, no need for that.

The 1st reply has since been deleted by the poster.

It was another example ina long list of BS around here lately and I decided to step up against it.

Orange did you get all the info you needed?

neons heh? sweet..When I put them on my 626 I used industrial zip ties and made some light brackets using 6x1 rubber straps i got from ACE hardware...yea definetly be careful if you ever have to jack your car up..OR take it somewhere that will jack it up..they will never notice your neons and just tell you they were broken when you brought it in..it happened to me when i got my radiator flushed at a quick lube..bastards...yea craig..lay down the law..too much flaming on these boards...good luck with the neons!
