Pretty soon I'll be working on getting my system out of my Probe and into my P5. What I've got is 2 pioneer anmps with line in inputs, running to 2 12' subs in a bandpass box. I would like to keep the stock HU, but was wondering if Running 2 amps plus the rear speakers off the rear speaker leads would be too much for it.

Thanks

You should use RCA whever possible to connect to amps... If your trying to run a system with a stock head unit I would seriously consider investing in a new head unit. Belive it or now...this central powerhouse can actually make or break a system..IMHO

does one of the amps have rca out puts if so use them to connect to the other. I personaly have never used 2 amps with speaker level inputs but as long as the amps inputs were ment to splice with speakers and not be direct it should be ok. Basicly if the speaker level inputs when connect to radio with the speakers reads close to 4 ohms then your OK if they are much lower then 3 then you can't use them that way.

Eh, I just decided to take the Poineer HU out of the probe and put in the P5...Don't like the way it fits, but I can't do much about that now.
