no. But it wont be a problem. Especially in Ca. If you are concerned about sucking water into your engine, then dont be. The filter is safe behind the front bumper, and under the splash guards.
 
Kind of....It dislocates at the MAF and I guess you could put the filter right there but you'd have to find some way to support it. USE THE SEARCH button to find pics of what I'm talking about.

Well the turbo spools up fatster. Its much louder, and I really feel more pull.

hey where can i get one of those INJIN things? how much is it? who has the cheapest price? what kind of noise will my bov make? when is it coming out? can i have your phone # steph?
 
You'd have to go into some pretty friggin deep water to have a problem.

There's a million threads about Injen Intakes. Search for 'Injen' and there will be all kinds of information.
 
yeah i am worried for when i am going mudding!
But seriously i just read some stories about getting water sucked in and was wondering if any of you guys had that problem.
 
I was just looking at putting the filter directly on the MAF for the winter, kind of a psuedo short ram. I know is doesn't rain much in sunny SoCal, but it might here in Oregon...
