Indigo (reversed) gauges

Do these exsit? I know that normal indigo one are avalible, where the hole face is lits up- but what about the ones where just the numbers are indigo?

I think there are some available on www.procarparts.com but i'm not sure what the quality of fitment is. In the past people have had issues with breaking their needles because they tried to remove them, but the needles do not come off on our cars. You usually have to trim the gauges to get them to slip over the existing cluster.

ya procarparts.com has them. Thats where I got mine. but ber VERY VERY VERY careful. they say they just lip over but they dont, you still have to cut them a little to get them on. i broke my temp and fuel needle (and after Big_ben gave me ahard time :) ) i got a used set for 125 and fixed them.

i read your post about breaking the needles sux man sorry! Thanks for the link i'll check it out right now!

Ok so i just check it out...they have the Indigo ones listed but not the reverse one! Can anyone source out the reverse one?

Freekwonder - yours are reverse or normal??

good luck.

For those of you that have installed these, I was thinking about getting some because I wanted the blue lighting to go with my blue stereo. Although I have the '03 with the Sport Auto where the gear indicator is on the left side with two rectangular holes cut out for it. How easy do you guys think it would be to cut that hole in these and have it look clean? Possible?

Thanks!

If you make a template and cut it out with an X-Acto knife or something equally sharp, it should cut out nice and clean. If you try cutting it freehand, it may not look as nice.

ahhh yes, wouldn't do anything but. Trying to cut it freehand would be suicide, was just concerned about how easy the material would cut. So I assume these use the existing lighting?

they are easy to cut. but if you get the reverse indiglos, you are not cutting throught the indlow material. but i can remember exactly. if you do get a set just match it up and make sure your not cutting through the indiglo and you should be fine. and on a side note. PLEASE BECAREFUL broken needles suck.

Hey freek or anyone with the reverse indiglo gauges, do they have the little circle cutout for the low gas light. I notice in the pics on procarparts.com that they dont. Just thought that I would ask someone who has them.
Mike

nope, mine didnt. I think I might pull them out and cut it myself. ive been letting it run to low on gas.

Awesome Post. A must read for anyone looking to swap gauge faces. BE CAREFUL OF THE NEEDLES. They brake easily and these companies don't tell you that. Drill or cut the holes bigger to make them fit. I ordered the standard reverse to replace the regular indiglos. WATCH THOSE NEEDLES!!!
