Whitewater pearl if that is the 'newer' white. I like the new 2007 with the sports package. If I get my raise this year I may have to buy one. I always hated white because of how hard it is to take care of but I have seen 2 or three in my area and they look awesome.

I know, it's crazy. i was not pleased. I was thinking about calling my dealer and ask them about the upgrade. I have an '06 so whatever that entails should be under warranty.

I'm on the list

I called my dealer and they immediately offered to put me on a list to get the fix installed. Apparently the reinforcing brackets are in short supply and they're fixing the cars that have actually been broken into first. But he did say the fix would be free of charge. So there's hope.

But in the meantime, remember to check your back seat before getting in your car. Just because all the windows are intact and the car was locked doesn't mean somebody isn't in your car.

haha nice counter alarm but this really pisses me off considering i just dished out 4 big ones for my sound system to know that if i leave my car sitting out long enouf that it could be broken into without the damn alarm going off

Yeah, I'm really really glad the first thing I did to my car was put a security/car start system on it. I got a CompuStar.
