Yeah tell me that this doesn't sound like bulls***, but I just read the latest December issue of Import Tuner and they dyno tested a Suzuki Aerio, Twin turbo FD RX7, newer Maxima and S2000 with these "Hyper Ground Wires" from XS Engineering.
The Aerio netted a peak gain of about 3.6 hp at the wheels, and averaged a 1.5 hp gain THROUGHOUT the power band.
THe RX7 netted a 13-15 ( can't remember the exact number) peak gain and averaged a 7 whp gain throught the power band
The Maxima netted like a 8-10 whp gain and averaged 6whp throught the band.
The S2000 got crappier results...it peaked at like a 2.5 hp gain and averaged about a 1whp gain throughout the band
Anyways, I read how they work, appparently they are much more effiecient ground wires made out of like 99.99% copper, and are even better than speaker wire you can buy. IT comes in kits for 4, 6 and 8 cylinder cars for 99 dollars, 104 and 144 dollars resepctively.
Pretty hard to believe, but It makes sense. Less resistance through the electrical system = less engine work freed up which = more power and effeicency.
If it could give a MP3 or P5 a 4whp gain, it sounds like a much better deal than an AEM or Injen intake to me
Whaddya think? bulls***? or feasible?
