I also this on one of the websites cant remember which but anyways what kind of gains would this help with n/a if any and do you have to get longer bolts or can you use the stock bolts

i have 'em. They are called thermoblokers [tm] .. Yes you need longer hardware (included in the kit). Is the intake cooler? Yes. Dramatic improvement - yes, when combined with the VTCS removed/intake ported (since you are in there! ;)). And check the torque/loctite[tm] on the VICS screws while you are at it!

how does it actually work and and suggrstions on which website to get it from or which kit to get

And does it reduce the already tight fit for the intake not to rub on the brake master cylinder? And does this eliminate the need to do the TB coolant buypass thing or still do that too.

EDIT: ^^^ You beat me to it

I think the company you're trying to get at is NSN Motorsports. I got both the IM spacer and the TB spacer from them a while back. I also got two new sets of gaskets for each (one on either side of the IM and TB). I just installed my VTCS-less IM this weekend and was going to install the IM spacer but I couldn't get it to fit on at the time. My problem was that I slid the spacer and gaskets on, the slip the upper IM onto the head and tried to slide it onto the lower IM, but the spacers prevented the bolts/holes from lining up. Now that I think about it though, if you were to completely put the IM back together and then push the thing back far enough and then slide on the spacer it might work. I didn't even attempt the TB spacer because I didn't want to mess with the throttle cable. Personally I would not have needed longer studs for my spacers either.

I have the Outlaw Engineering Spacers......good stuff. Im sure NSN's work just as well.

I can touch my Intake Mani right after any drive and the mani is luke warm at most. I used to burn the sh*t outta my hand before the spacers.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they're about the same thing. Did they really make that much of a difference? Hmm, I might have to rethink my choice to sell them... besides, I may just have to take my IM off again anyway due to low idle (read vacuum leak) so I may yet try to install this.

So has anyone installed the TB spacer?

Yeah, cooled down the mani enough to make it a worth the hassle to install. I also installed the TB spacer.....the Outlaw kit comes with both. Since the IM is cooled down so much, the TB gets nowhere near hot. While i was at it, i did the Coolant Bypass mod......makes it that much cooler (thumb)

So did the TB spacer screw with your idle? I thought I read somewhere that it scretched the throttle cable and caused an increased idle.

Not at all. Idle sits perfectly fine where it was at..... cable sat back with ease.
