Okay so money is not an issue. I want to start tuning but idk what company to go with and what to buy. What do you guys recommend for this? Like CP-E has the stand-back, then the harness...IDK what the difference is. If anyone can help(cheers2) Oh and what do you guys recommend for front mount?

So far my tunes are intake, full exhaust. Looking for good lowering springs to:)
 
if you look in the buy sell you can see that i have one up for sale. with the harness.
 
If you search around a little you'll see there hasn't been much success with either of the EMS's with the Speed 3&6!

Ok, i have the CP-E with the PnP tuned by Sean at Extreme Motorsports Maryland , tuning cost $225/hour and took 2 hours so $450usd for 2 maps , 1x16psi and 1x 18psi . Got 271HP and 293 torque at the wheels , you can see my mods in my sigrature. Car pull very hard with no check engine , i'm from Quebec Canada, so i made 12 hours of roads for him . I'm very happy with the result .
 
I would wait for the full flash by cp-e and see how the results turn out on the car. Shane02 does make a point too that their isnt that much success with piggybacks right now because the way our ecu and engine reacts to the piggyback. Wait for the flash like i am to see how that does.

How much power do you want to make anyways??
 
Thanks a lot guys:). Well to be honest I have no clue. I know i have intake an exhaust..im going to cut my atp dp at where the first cat would meet (so id take out that extra piping plus 2nd cat) only bcuz it is a b*tch to take that 1st dp out and i dont have the patience. So once thats on, I want to do tuning, front mount. And maybe just some small other things. I guess maybe around low low 300's
 
I dont want to go insane with tuning and thats what i heard cpe is for sort of. Its my daily driver, and since gas is so exspensice I dont punch it to often, but when i do...i want power.

hey guys,
Whats the craic with this 'flash' from cp-e, I thought all flashes will just be over written by mazda at service intervals?!

right, which is why we've consistently held our dyno numbers, AFRs, quarter mile times and results over the last year or so, on our speed6, with the XEDE, right? (uhm)

i'm well aware the standback gets more attention than the XEDE for alot of reasons. its hard to justify the price tag of the XEDE when other systems are priced where they are. but if you poke around our section and some of the posts i've made, you'll find that our car has been running strong with the system, the car has taken the tune and stuck with it and the modifications have only been making the car that much better. if i had any reason to feel the system wasn't working, it would be pulled off the car immediately.

+1 on the XEDE. It works perfectly, simple as that. I'm not sure where the idea that the currently available piggyback/interceptor EMS's (either one)don't work on the Speed6...

if you read cp-e's update on their flash, they address this point. it is my understanding as well that the flash is intended to work hand in hand with the standback and that they are far from abandoning it.

i could tell you where the rumors are developing out of, but i'd rather not start a fight. i'll just say that i've spent more time than i've wanted to debunking to people who have called me to confirm or deny it.
