Idiots!!!

Just thought I'd share another great story about Mazda service centers. 3 weeks ago I called my dealership to make an apointment to have a few things done to my car. You know, to put on my winter tires, change the oil etc.... Anyways the only reason I was doing to the dealership was to get my back light fixed as water had goten into it. I was VERY clear on the phone that this was the reason for my visit when I made the apointment. Then this morning again, he asked me what I wanted done to my car, and again I told him about the light.... Simple right?? So anyways when I went to pick up the car this afternoon I get there and the guys like "We did everything you wanted except for fixing the light....." Puzzled I asked why, and he tells me "We checked all the bulbs and none of them were burnt"...... Can you believe this ******* idiot!!! I told him there was water in the light casing, not that one of my bulbs was burnt!!! I can change that myself!!! Man this pisses me off. All that for nothing. I even rented a car from thoses dumbasses. Never doing to that dealership again!!!! And for all those wondering, it was Querin Mazda in Laval.... I guess next time I'll draw them a picture.:bs: :bs: :bs:

Actually, you are very close to the answer. Type up what you want done or checked on your car and print out two copies before you go to the dealer. The reason is simple. You give the car and your verbal list to a service writer or the service manager. He/She types what they remember into the service order. A request to check the leak in the rear light might turn into "check rear light". The tech reading the service order sees that and assumes the bulb is faulty. If it glows, it goes back to you.

By giving them a printed list and asking that it be attached to the service order, you are helping them and you get it right. Plus, if (in the case of a later warranty claim) you attach YOUR copy to your copy of the service order, you can show management or the Mazda rep that you did bring up the problem back when it first started happening.

I really do not think this should be necessary. I told them like 3 times what I wanted done to my car. It's like if you go to a restaurant and you tell the waiter what you want. You shouldn't need to grab the pad from the waiters hand and write it down for him. It's up to them to write CHECK LIGHT FOR WATER infiltration..... I really think this is THEIR job, and if they are too stupid to get it right, well then they will lose my business. :wtf:

Man, they don't have a pen and paper? The dealership I go to carries a clipboard and work order forms around (later to be a printed receipt given to me). They write down what I want done to my car right there in front of me before I get out of the car.

Man that sucks, but have to say that I am kinda happy that I am not the only one getting crappy service from my dealership. I am going to try to get a refund on my car according to lemon law and so we will see how my dealer likes that!

Hey, Thats normal. You know, some auto dealers are really damn idiot. I got my P5 at Brownig Mazda Cerritos, CA. They just know how to send those complimentary letter& say how thankful they are & how much they want U to be satisfied, but all B.s***. I bought my accesories at Anaheim Mazda dealer, I got a way better customer service event my car is not from them. Guess what, the price are event cheaper!! Browning Mazda, I give U
-99 out of 100 perfect.
