99.9% of people that get sponsored is ones who ask the owner direct, not for them to email you..

try contacting company directly , your chances will jump higher of gettin a sponsor.
I am tryin to find a sponsor, even with all my mods , it is hard to get a sponsor..

see i have done that and i still have no sponsors... my budget is about 4000 on my car, and i done all the work..

shane, how many people have you contacted? you don't ask companies to email YOU, you email THEM.

i know, i have contacted a few with no response ... i guess it is because of where i live they dont think there is much publicity...

ive havent found any worth while sponsers yet ethier and im in a high publicity area. ive acutally given up on it and just pay for it all myself and hope for good deals. less hassel

I want to put a small turbo setup, nothing crazy just enough to gain some respect.

i sold all my audio stuff off because the wieght i like speed much better and i never used the system cause i like sq but thats pricey as hell so i never did that.

yeah, i was thinkin of sellin my subs and amp for a turbo kit... but when every one sees my car they know of the bad ass setup in my trunk... that is what i am known for around here.. so its kinda the trademark of my car... so i keeping it...

i just want to get my car fast enough so that the asswholes who pull up next to me and try and say s*** to me... i can shut them up fast by revin , blow off , and jet.... oo and have my passenger take a snapshot of there face then Label it PRICELESS... lol

yea i got two 5inch in teh headrest and i like picture on them and i used to have a 7inch up front. but i need room for the gauges for the turbo. i might buy a pocket bike and put it the back like pirana i just wanna finish with the turbo and everything and im going to start heavy showing next season like all summer the following year.

heres the deal. most companies won't even bother going thru the motions from some kid an his email. you need to write up a written proposal with high color pics of yoru cars, telling the company about you, about your car, about things youve done, about awards and publicity youve gotten about shows your going to. A email beggin for free stuff will get you no where. the guys that get the best sponsors are the guys with the best written proposals. when you become sponsored you are becoming a salesmen for their company. think someone wants a salesman who just writes an email saying give me stuff. or someone who sends in a proposal in a binder telling them evertyhign they can do for their company. showing all the shows they will be attending (meaning the car will get seen at major events) listing all the thing that are done to the car (so they know you have the ability to do the work versus all the 1000's of people writing in with stock cars claiming they will do stuff) a propal with awards shows that u are out there competing. and information about yourself so they know what type of person you are. sponsors get 1000's of propasals a year and your has to be better then all of them because sponsors don't dole out product to every kid who asks. and the best time to send out sponsorships isn't now. the show season is allready half over and most sponsors have spent their yearly sponsorship allowance.
