Yeah, I used to get that all the time when I put new wheels on my protege, you definitely have to do what you think looks best and forget about what other ppl think. I still am unsure what wheels to get, if at all. If I find a set I love and have to have them, then nobody here or elsewhere is gonna keep me from buying them.
(sorta like that AWESOME wing youve got! lol)

Jbiird, if it's any consolation, 3 people at work have all told me my car doesn't look as good with the leggaras. 1 of those people is actually a car guy. I don't care. I think it looks pretty good.

Do you guys think +42 offset would be too much on a Black MS3 GT? I found some nice wheels but the offset is +42. It is 18" x 8" wide.

I had them put one wheel & tire on my car and it looked really nice, it is less than a .50'" (.39") further out and does not rub anywhere.
