There may be one out there but for the hours upon hours I've researched I haven't found one. Besides you will wan't to buy parts as they come up for sale on the boards....buying parts from the dealer will cost waaaaaay to much. You might as well buy a MSP.
Check my edited post #39.....the second link.
Stick with the P5. They look better and are lighter overall. Besides, people know what an MSP is. I like getting funny looks from people who wonder why I turbocharged a 4 cylinder station wagon![]()
Power goal at least 200-250hp,budget the like $1500,depends on how much i get the parts for.
+1Think three times more money and you can hit your goal.
You do not have to guess.. You will like it and you will do anything for it...

+1, if you even remotely think about going turbo, you already know what you are going to experience.
Turbo is a great feeling, especially after driving a regular Protege around for a while. Stock MSP puts down 170 at 6.5psi. Just to estimate for you, an MSP kit can still get you more power if you get a piggyback EMS or FMU, and a boost controller. With just those, you wouldn't want to go over 10psi, which can get you anywhere from 180-210hp on average, all depending on supporting mods as well. If you want more, you'll need to spend more money foring your motor unless you really really like to put your block on the line every time you drive. Once you forge your motor, your options open up quite a bit!
There is no such thing as "all the power you will need" unless you drive a Top Fuel dragster, nice try, lol.
