Yeah, the funny thing is that folks like Kenny Tran of Jotech is running high compression and good boost in his 8 second Honda hatch.

he also DOES NOT run pump gas or for that matter gas.
kenny tran has a honda built FOR the track ONLY so he has COMPLETE control over every perameter on fuel and ignition curves.900 horsepower was not built for driving to work and siting in traffic like some people do every day

also let me make a brief comment about this compression ratio thing.
it is alot more complicated than just picking numbers.
there is alot of thought into exactly what you plan on doing with the particular vehicle and every vehicle is different.
now i made up my mind to go with slightly less static compression because of research i did that can BENIFIT this particular set up with the available sqish volume designed in the head and ignition timing for peak cylinder pressure efficiency. now some of this might not make sense to some but if you would like to discuss this further you know where to find me

RIGHT!! Definitely not pump gas, and AEM Race box. I talked to him at one time about doing an AEM race box for me, but $$$$, and time was not on myside.

When I was at Jotech, I thought he told me that he uses AEM. He definitely told me he could set me up with AEM. I will ask him.

any way its all the same he has a monster for the track that i wish i had the time to build and the money for it too.
