J&S retards timing (either from knock or predefined boost settings), it does not control fuel. It does not change the fact that the stock ECU is still trying to keep the AF ratio where it wants it to be in closed loop mode. This is what the voltage clamp fights. That is why I would think the combo would be a good setup. But hey, I'm no expert. My knowledge is just from reading here, so I might be wrong
