hey i just sold my protege 5 and got a 2002 nissan sentra SER Spec-V i love it its black ill try to get some pics of it up soon but i just wanted to say i loved the protege 5 while i had it but i wanted something faster oh goly is this thing nice and fast 6 speed goodness (headbang) but anywho iv always been a nissan fan,when i got the protege i loved the look and handeling of it but it just wasnt fast enuff. i hope all you msp owners are not going to hate on me now.... well nice meeting every one... ill keep on checkin back here to see whats going on... bye every one

Congrats on the new car, but, as you predicted, I must say that you really should have gone with the MSP. Right now you could get an MSP for about the same price as the Spec V, and Mazdas certainly kick more ass than Nissans. But Nissans are still pretty sweet. Enjoy!

government standards are alot lower than insurance standards and aren't really much to brag about, altho i do say the protege has a strong chasis from all the clif rollovers i've seen.

well i didn't get the nissan new it has 12400 miles on it but i got it for only 10,500. i work at the dealership where i got it at so thats why i got it so cheap =). thanks for all the replys though and i do love the tourq its awsome. im going this coming friday to see what it will do at the track. if i get it on vid ill post it up. oh and im still workin on those pics. sorry i didnt get a msp i tried to but they would not finance me low enuff to where i could make the payments. i also have a 96 prelude im paying for also so..... thanks guys and girls if any have replyed but ill keep on checkin the boards to see whats going on...
