i need a hks bov mount piece

on monday im going to buy a bov off a guy that used his bov for about 400 miles on a gti and i dont think he has the mounting piece (i think its called the flange) does anyone know where i can order jsut that piece?

You just need a flange that you can weld on?

Hopefully the HKS BOV holds boost better for you than your apparently faulty stock Mazda piece did.

another option to avoid welding is getting a prewelded flange and connecting the pipe with couplers

i think a few fo the aftermarket compaines make an adapter flange for it.

how do u install with that piece? piping and all that i duno what to do with a piece like that

using that pipe in the link as an example.....it's 2" in diameter and 6" in length. you'd have to cut out 6" of your stock piping to fit in the pipe with the flange, then connect that pipe with couplers and t-clamps. just make sure you get the right size couplers, your stock pipe might not be 2".

also if you go the coupler route make sure you get the right size clamps as well. go 1/4" bigger clamps than the coupler. if you have a 2" coupler you'd need a 2.25" clamp.

Just go to cp-e and buy their flange, it's like 50 bucks.

today i jsut ordered the whole kti and said **** it...i woulda got the used bov from a kid for 200 and a flange for 50...30 bucks more gets me a new one so i jsut ordered the new one form cp-e
