I got the G35 instead of the ms3!!!

there is a video on you tube where a mazdaspeed3 out runs a g35. just run a search for mazdaspeed3 and it'll come up. nice car though, i just have never been a big fan of the coffee grinder engine sound from the g35 and the 350z. still nice though.

I just don't approve of you getting the G35.

And I'm pissed that your dad "told you" to get a better car, when the MS3 IS better overall.

Just my two cents. You should've ignored your dad and gotten the MS3 and then used the remaining money for mods.

well the ms3 is not a better car!!! neither the G35!!

Both have a lot power
both have a good handling
BUT infinity has more reliability and the engine has more potential to mods(not plannig to do them now but in two years or when the lease is over and i have the option to buy it for 19k i will make it a beast)
Infinity has more luxury and is faster for what i see!! Ive driven the ms3 and i feel the G35 faster!!!
Both are in the 10 best cars of 2007 car and driver
both have the 10 best engines of the world
So i cannot say that the ms3 and the G35 are bad when they have a lot in common except that the ms3 is a hot hacth back and the G35 is a big sport sedan!!
I was thinking the same thing but when i see and drive the G i love it!! I allready have 600 miles on it !!!

LOL thats funny!! If i wanted i would of get the ms3 but since my dad told me he is giving me a better car i decided to get the G35!!

Enjoy, but not too much. That 15K will go fast and then you'll have to buy it out to avoid the mileage penalties! Nice car but too much money just to lease it, IMO. I won't do another lease. In the back of my mind I always felt like I was driving someone else's car and that they were gonna hold me accountable. Kind of like driving your parents' car and paying for the privilege.

I was against lease at first too, but why be financially obligated to something that will always lose value as it ages.

I currently drive a leased 2005 WRX. I put 1,500 down...subaru matched that. gave me a 1% interest rate...paid my first car payment..free oil change (50 bucks at the dealer for synthetic). I have put 50k on the car in two years and if i were to sell it to the dealer they would eat me alive. But i am selling it private, i owe less than 19k on the car but can sell for 20 to 21k. Pay off the lease and you have cash in your pocket. If you want to own the car, refinance and keep paying( in which if you pay the original lease amount, you half the buyout time)

So you're leasing the G instead of buying the MS3? Eh. You may regret it some day.

At least it's a nice car. Hopefully you stay in the mileage budget.

Me? I'd never lease a car.

1-You really can't mod it
2-You have to watch your mileage
3-You don't get a "free" car after 5 years like you do with car payments
4-the price difference between renting a car and leasing the same car is usually not much.

well with option to buy its not bad. I haven't done the math, but as long as your lease payments are about the same as the depreciation, you are getting a better deal by leasing. Also, you can also get tax deducted as business expense on lease payments.

If you buy at end, do you need to pay for extra miles?

I believe that if you buy at the end you just finance the rest of the remaining balance. But if you traded it in for another car then yeah you have to pay for the extra mileage.

well the remainig balance after the lease is over is only 18k i think i make a good deal because if i bought the ms3 is going to depreciate a lot and i will loose money like i did when i bought the mazdaspeed protege!! Im not buying again!!!

yes you can mod it but what about you warranty?? So either if is lease or purchase you can't moded until it is yours!!!

Yeh, see that's actually a great deal if you had the intention to keep it for a while or you could just sell privately after buying it from the dealer. The lease payments are lower than the payments would be if you were to buy. It's a very smart move

You have to pay tax too. With a lease you only pay tax when you make a payment.

You're correct...as much as I love Mazda they just don't hold their value. I once ran lease numbers on a Mazda3 S...when I backed all the numbers out the rate ended up in the 11-12% range...which is horrible. Well...unless you have bad credit. LoL.

If you mod the G it will lose value for 90% of future buyers. It will turn off more than if you were to mod a 3. I also wouldn't compare a Protege and 3, they don't.

well yeah you right but mazda don't hold a value, dont get me wrong i love mazda but it is true, now my dads cx-7 value is around 16k and the debt is 25k so we allready lose 9k if we trade the beutifull baby LOL!!! Thats why im leasing !!! Oh yeah and if bought the G the monthly will be around 700 to 800 with a tier 1 credit!!! So i guess i make a good deal!!
