I got the black eye!

Guess what I did over the weekend?
It took me about 2 hours to remove everything and paint and reattach them.

yea thats coming this weekend... i'm psyched i havnt been posting a lot lately or even really that psyched on my p5 lately cuz i was trying to trade it in.... sorry guys.. hehe but she is gonna stay till i can afford a true street destroyer so let the mods begin...

I would say 3. The hardest part was to heat up the headlight so that I can remove the clear parts of the headlight.
I put the entire light fixture in the 250 oven for about 2 minutes, and gently remove the clear over.

I used high heat resistance flat black paint(around $5). You can get them in any local auto stores. I was going to get the gloss but it's very hard to make it very smooth. Make sure you sand it lightly before you paint it. otherwise paint doesn't stick too well.

I have a Canadian P5. Are my headlight backgrounds black by default? I swear they are but I can't see my car right now. If so, cool, instant mod.

Now I want to take them apart and spray them chrome just to be different than the other Canadians.

You should open up a shop and do this full time, youd make a killing! Charge $150!
