standard. very high mileage. getting up to 95000. its my moms old car and she got a good deal. and she drove alot.

Probably time to look into changing the timing belt and some other things as well then, like pulgs and wires and the such.

lol yeah. its not a neccesity, id rather have a 36 dolla ricetastic one than a 200 dolla stock one. im gonna be in the odenten area. i used to live in millersville, im gonna b down to c sum old friends this summa. im not gonna have the protege sadly. it still needs some wrk, and my sister keeps tryin to steal it from me. but yeah, this summer, if u know of any mazda or protege shows/clubs/events goin on let me know.

sounds good. next summer, ill bring my DX down, with most of the mods. im gettin a jump start on saving. im gonna wrk my ass off this summer, and bang it all out this winter. lower, exhaust, intake, header, tach, and an alarm system, bc u cant trust the city. but yeah ill c what i can do. any other reccomended starter mods?

Header, intake, exhaust is a good place to start, pretty much in any order you would like or all at once if you have the $

that thing at the top of the first pic is the battery ground to the frame, its to the right of the master cylnder, behind the driver side strut tower, right under the whiper motor. Just look in the corner of the engine bay closest to your drivers side mirror
