I don't really expect anyone to respond, but...

Well I am pretty sure I am the only speed owner even close to Boise. I live in Mt. Home and spend a lot of time in Boise, because there isn't a damm thing to do around here. I couldn't believe they didn't sell Speeds in Boise, what a tragedy.

stupid ass noise ordinance. i got puled over this morning for having my stereo on. the pathetic thing is that i only had it on notch 3. i wouldnt have minded that much if i got pulled over for 120+ decibels, but not for barely even having it on. apparently if they can hear it over 50ft away they can ticket you or arrest you for a misdemeanor. such bs.

WTF? Arrest you for a misdemeanor like that?!

That sucks! Cops around here have nothing better to do. On new years, my bf and I were driving home and we got pulled over. He'd been drinking- he was okay to drive, but probably still could've gotten in trouble. Well, the cop pulled us over and came to the window and was like, "do you know why I pulled you over tonight?" And we're like, "no, not really" cause we hadn't been speeding or anything. So the cop goes, "um. Your front license plate?" He said it like we should've known something was wrong. but there wasn't anything wrong with it. So he walks around the front of the car, walks back, and says, "oh. sorry, my mistake. Have a good night then." and lets us go. Whew!! who had too much to drink????

And the stock CD player in my new car just ate the s***, so I guess it's time for a new one :(

Sorry to hear about that man, I've had troubles too when I brought my car home once. One cop stopped me to "check out" my car. I think he was looking for fix-it fines. Another stopped me because I was doing about 80-85 on I-84 between Ontario and Boise.

So, would you be interested in a "mint condition" factory six disc???? (hi)

im going to school right now at wsu [pullman].. only seen 2 p5s out here, a red and blue one.. both owned by middle aged women i think. anyway.. i havent seen any msps or p5s whenever i go over to idaho, specifically moscow and near U of I. Im thinking about bringing my car over but im afraid someones going to jack it seeing as how it might be considered a commodity over here, and plus theres so many hills here im afraid im going to tear up my lip.
anyway, idaho is a little scary at night.. i get weird scary looks from white people [not trying to be racist but its true] when i walk into the stores and stuff.

Unfortunately, it's true about how people look at you and react (not you in particular... ). Generally though, I think it's pretty safe around here. I've never personally had any vandalism or anything done to my car... I can't see your sig or anything right now... but I'm guessing you drive a p5? There are a bunch of 'em in cd'a... I don't know how it is in the pullman/moscow area. Maybe in a university town things are a little more crazy?

Hi mspnewb !!! Im not in idaho but im in spokane so i thought i would drop a line !!!

I'm thinking it was mine. If there's a verrrry slight ding in the right rear passenger door, it's probably mine. And in the front left part of the bumper, there's a small gouge where you can see white plastic thru the paint. It had about 2600 miles on it when I traded it.

I guess I can stop referring to it as 'mine' also, since it's yours now, haha.

Enjoy it. I'll miss it.

Oh, and I hate PF mazda now. They were major jerks to me and my friend when I went to trade the speed. Like, rude enough to warrant a formal complaint. I hope you had a better experience with them than I did :)

Sounds like yours !! (rofl)
Had way more then 2600 when i bought it though wonder if someone else had it for a short time. (flame2)
Well you know were close enough maybe we could do a joint custody thing so you dont miss it too much =)
But yes it is a great car and im sorry you had to trade it in but she is in good hands !!!!

Hmm... joint custody, huh? ;)

I'm sure she's in great hands. Just curious, if you don't mind... how much did you pay? I'd understand if you didn't want to tell. :)

**edit**
I was just going over the details with this with my bf, and he pointed out that it actually had about 6300 miles when I traded it. Oops, I was waaaay off on that, sorry :)

LOL ok 6300 was about right =)
As far as telling you how much i paid im not opposed to it but then i would want to know how much they gave you which would probably piss me off since i think car salesman are the biggest evil in the world behind lawyers and terrorists !!!!
Anyways my expierence at PF mazda wasnt bad but wasnt good either about what i expect when im dealing with salesman (freak)
So me telling you and you telling me how much they gave you might really piss me off (dunno)
BTW did you trade it in and get a normal protege?

K. I won't tell you how much I got for it. ;)

I traded it for a 2000 DX. I had to get rid of the 'speed due to loss of job. So, it really was for the better. I mean, I could've lived in the car, but... (sad2)

I also didn't have the $$$ to get snow tires, so it sat in the carport pretty much all winter.

(cheers2)

Believe it or not, most of the potatoes grown in Idaho are exported, so when we go to the store to buy them, we usually get Washington ones. Besides, Idaho is the Gem state, it's one of like, 2 or 3 places in the world you can find star garnets. I'm not all big on like, 'state pride' or whatever, but the potato thing gets old after awhile. If you want an Idaho potato, go to McDonalds and order fries, it'll be faster and cheaper :D
hahaha.. that's a great response. That gave me a good laugh.

(spin)

Oh an welcome to the board. I'm in NM.. same thing. 3 peeps down there who actively participate on the boards. Lots of mazdas though they seem to be coming out of the woodwork or maybe i just never noticed them before.

We where just in Idaho about 3 weeks ago. We went to Boise for a friends weding. They actualy live in Meridian and Nampa, but it is a very beautiful state. am also in New Mexico

Just had to post on this thread. I've been posting on these forums for a while now and I've never noticed a regional section:) I live in Moscow, ID right now going to school, but I grew up and went to HS in Priest River and my dad lives in Post Falls. I haven't seen many MSP, so it's interesting to see how many are in the area.

Hello to everyone in the wonderful Pacific Northwest! Especially the greatest state in all the land! That's right, IDAHO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I'm just being weird right now. Too much Live Wire. I hope to get a club for Mazda's going when I mowve back to Boise. See, I currently live in Prescott Valley Arizona. Don't ask it's a long story. Anyway, I belong to a club down here called Mazdasports. We get together on the weekends and hang out and talk about cars mainly. We also try to participate in car shows as a club, and do things together to get the name out. This is the same type of club that I want to start when I get back home. Let me know what you think.
